Who we are

This site was created to widely promote the Declaration of Medical Crisis, a joint initiative of several professionals who have been fighting for this cause. We appeal to all doctors, scientists and professionals to sign this declaration, in order to put pressure on the entities involved and promote a more transparent health policy.

The website has the address: https://medicalcrisisdeclaration.com The data collected when you submit the form is intended exclusively to demonstrate support from the medical and scientific community, health professionals and citizens in relation to the Declaration of Medical Crisis.

These data is being collected by the organization “Médicos por La Verdad” – a registered trademark in Spain with registration number: 4.086.352, represented by Dr. Natália Prego. The data provided can be deleted at the request of the users, for this purpose the user should send an email to info@medicalcrisisdeclaration.com and request for his/her data to be deleted.
This is also the valid address for any request for information or clarification.

Signature Collection

The data collected by signing the declaration will only be used in this context, it is not sold or transferred to third parties.

The data collected depends on the profile of each subscriber. For supporters of the declaration who are doctors or scientists and for other health professionals, we collect the name, professional title, date of birth, country and also the registration number in the professional order (not mandatory). In the case of citizens we collect the name, date of birth, country, and also their profession.

Only the professional title, name and country data are made public on the initiative’s supporters page.

With the exception of the email address, these data are made public on the submission page of those who sign this declaration.

Cookies

Some cookies may be used to ensure the website’s functionality.

If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you sign the declaration, the data is saved indefinitely and can be deleted at any time by request sent to the email: info@medicalcrisisdeclaration.com requesting its removal.

For users who register on our website (if any), we keep the personal information provided in your user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have signed the statement, have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an export file with the personal data stored about you, including any personal data you have indicated. You can also request that saved data be deleted.

This does not include any personal data that is mandatory to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

The data collected is recorded on this website and is therefore stored on a secure server, located in the EU and GDPR compliant. We do not sell or share the data with third parties, it is only used in the context of signing the declaration.
